This combo is a great flash bracket to use with a lens equipped with a tripod collar (with an Arca-type plate attached) and with the addition of the Rail with integrated clamp or base rail with clamp , you can use it with a camera as well. You have the ability to adjust the vertical distance between flash and lens. Parts are captive to prevent detachment from accidentally unscrewing them too far while in the field.
