Hejnar Photo quick-release system is based on the Arca-Swiss standard and use two parts: clamp and a plate rail lens foot etc. You always have to use both pieces of the system. The clamp will stay mounted to tripod head/accessory, and the plate will stay mounted on your camera / lens or other component. You will need a separate quick-release plate for each camera or collared, telephoto lens that you want to mount in the clamp on your tripod head.
Clamp jaws open and close by twisting a knob on clamps. Traditional screw-knob clamps deliver greater clamping force than competitors lever clamps. Screw knot clamps also in moist cases will accept plates from various manufacture in slightly different sizes so your selection of accessories is not limited to one manufacture.
