Quick release plate for Nikon Z series cameras and Nikon FTZ adapter. This plate connects to camera and FTZ Nikon adapter at the same time creating bridge between camera and FTZ. One screw mount plate to camera and one screw mounted to FTZ. With such connection plate will relief stress between lens, FTZ adapter and camera when non-Z series lens is used. Bottom of this plate has Arca Swiss type connection build in and combo may be place directly into Arca Swiss Type clamp.
Plate also is equipped with three ΒΌ-20 taped hole. Using those holes non arca plate can be mounted to bottom of D063 plate. One of most popular brands is Manfrotto but it has its own proprietary tripod head and lens plate. Hence, regular Arca compatible lens plates and clamps are not usable with them. This is a problem for some shooters who could not mount Manfrotto plate to Z series camera when using FTZ adapter. Since D063 plate create even surface mounting such plate is possible and let you use Manfrotto plate with Gimbal, Ball Heads, tripods, and any other device where Manfrotto plate is used. You are not limited to Manfrotto plate, You can use any other system plates as long as you can mount it with 2 screws to D063
